The survey above has helped me to come to the conclusion that the best type of thrillers include all of the thriller elements with strong characterisation and good plots! It also encourages me to go ahead with the theme of a 'hero and villain' and also develop further the ideas about 'a twist' and a 'cliffhanger'. Lastly my target audience is clear (ages 15-22).

Title Sequence

A Title Sequence is to show the audience a sequence of patterns in which are going to happen in the film. It should include information such as the title of the film, the logo and production company, names of characters\main stars, who the music, screenplay and editing is produced by. The official producer and the director.

The order in which the information is presented to the audience is usually in a pattern which looks like this:
  • The Production Company e.g. Warner Bros
  • A Film by e.g.
  • Actors
  • Title (or)
  • Minor Actors
  • Casting By
  • Costume Design
  • Edited By
  • Director of Photography
  • Screenplay by
  • Produced by
  • Directed by
  • Title (or)
An example of this is SE7EN as shown below:
